Calling all Creative Collaborators!
This competition is open to all students who enjoy being creative, and we encourage both individual and group entries! We’re looking for fresh ideas, bold sketches, short film ideas, graphic novels, zines, sculptures, music compositions, scripts, poems, short stories, flash fiction and any other creative output you can think of that explores your future vision of a future that is fair and inclusive, sustainable and ethical.
Storytelling – Empowering Your Future Self: Building a More Equitable and Inclusive Future (A Work in Progress)
The Challenge:
Imagine yourself five years from now, five years into your career, well on your way to achieving something amazing. You’re making a positive impact and helping to shape a future that is fair and inclusive for all. What would you want to tell your future self to remember, to think about as you pursue your career? How could you demonstrate inclusivity through your decisions and actions?
Now, let’s see a glimpse into your creative process!
What We Want to See:
- Spark Conversations: This competition is all about igniting discussions around Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in the creative industries. Your work can be a starting point for us to explore these conversations and for you to feel empowered to take your career in a positive direction.
- Focus on EDI: Show us how you envision breaking down barriers and creating a more diverse and equitable creative landscape. How will you use your skills to ensure everyone has a seat at the table?
- Ethical & Social Responsibility: Don’t forget the bigger picture! Weave social responsibility and environmental awareness into your work. How will your future self contribute to a more just and sustainable world?
- Open Canvas: There are no limitations on the format! This is your chance to experiment – a mind map, a storyboard snippet, a musical composition in progress, a poem, a character sketch, a film scene you’re developing – anything goes!
